The Bronte Coat Drive is Back!
The 10th Annual Bronte Coat Drive is a cooperative effort that brings together the Church of the Epiphany, Walton United Church, St. Dominic Church, the Bronte Legion, Bronte Fire Station #1 and Oakville Fire Station #3.
It’s a community-wide call to action to:
- Check your closets
- Pull out gently used winter wear that you’d like to donate
- Sew on that button
- Empty the pockets
- Sponge out the stain
- And, bring your coat(s) to a drop-off location: St. Dominic Church (2415 Rebecca St) on September 9, 16, 23 & 30 between 10am and 1pm or at the Bronte or Kerr Fire Stations.
So, spread the word and spread the warmth – and donate your gently used winter wear to local families in need. All coats will be distributed during the 10th Annual Coat Event on October 14, 2023 at the St. Dominic School Gym at 2405 Rebecca Street.
