Summer in the Rearview: Results of the 2023 Bronte BIA Community Investment Program

Through our Community Investment Program, the BIA sponsored 65 events and activations between May to September.

We were honoured to welcome 28,000+ visitors who connected and celebrated in unique shared experiences – and spent over $340,000 at local Bronte businesses.

We hosted lakeside concerts, bucket drumming programs, an outdoor movie night, historical walking tours, live music, library workshops, a Canada Day party, a community book bike and an Afro-Caribbean cultural festival.

Thank you to The Oakville Wind Orchestra, Bandology, Oakville Festivals of Film & Art, The Bronte Historical Society, The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH), Bling Events International, Bronte Lake Notes, Oakvillegreen, the Oakville Public Library and The Bronte Legion for partnering with us to bring free, inclusive and family-friendly initiatives to life.

On behalf of our 175 member businesses, we thank you for organizing, promoting and attending these events – and for bringing vibrancy, economic support and amazing dance moves to Bronte. It was a pleasure spending the summer with you!
