Marine Drive Closed at Bronte Road

Marine Drive will be closed between Bronte Road and Jones Street from Friday, June 3, 2022 to Wednesday, September 15, 2022 so that a small (20-metre) portion can be used for expanded patio space. A lane on the south side of the road will remain accessible for bikes.

It’s part of the Town of Oakville’s Commercial Recovery Initiative that allows the use of on-street and private parking spots and municipal spaces to support the reopening of Bronte restaurants and retail businesses.

Local traffic will be able to access Marine Drive from Jones Street during the road closure.
