$2,500 Digital Transformation Grant is Back

Digital Main Street’s $2,500 Digital Transformation Grant is back for another round of funding for Bronte businesses after a $10-million investment this week from the Government of Ontario.

DMS is focused on assisting brick-and-mortar small businesses adopt digital technologies. This can mean updating your website, hiring someone to create and run a social media strategy, implementing an online inventory management or billing system or purchasing hardware for contactless sales transactions. The renewed program provides $2,500 grants, technical training, and digital resources to help businesses reach more customers in person and online, positioning them for a stronger recovery.

Grant applicants only need to complete just over two hours of video training as a requirement of applying.

Note that the eligibility criteria has changed slightly to allow businessesboth inside and outside of a BIA or Main Street to apply.

Businesses that have received grant funding in the past, cannot apply for this round. However, access to the free one-on-one Digital Service Squad expertise is still available to Bronte businesses any time.
