Public Art Unveiling at Future Home of Amica Lakeshore

Next time you’re strolling through Bronte, check out the newly unveiled public art installation at 2370 Lakeshore Rd W – the future home of Amica Lakeshore. The project was created in partnership with The Bronte Historical Society, Sheridan College and Amica Senior Lifestyles and is inspired by Bronte’s rich history and evolution as one of the most inviting places to live, work and play in the GTA.

The installation was designed by students from the world-renowned Honours Bachelor of Illustration program at Sheridan College – and their work was brought to life through conversations with the historian at The Bronte Historical Society and with residents who shared their stories of family traditions, community heritage and Bronte’s welcoming spirit.

The project is a depiction of both the past and present; as a site where Amica builds for the future so that one day soon, and for generations to come, seniors will have an option to age safely and with dignity right here in Bronte.
