Tree Lighting Returns in 2022
With in-person gathering restrictions just recently easing, the Bronte holiday tree lighting will not take place this year. But fingers crossed for a return in 2022 at the new Bronte Market Square currently under construction on Lakeshore Rd W outside The Village residence.
Events like this take months to plan and organize and COVID-related restrictions were still in place back in the Summer. So, we totally focused on creating and installing 100 painted Muskoka chairs for the At Home in Bronte project now available all winter. Bundle up and come and check it out!
Santa’s Coming to Town – Virtually
The Oakville Santa Claus Parade returns virtually on November 27.
Coronation Park Light Display
Looking for twinkling lights? The Oakville Professional Firefighters Association has partnered with the Town of Oakville to host a drive-thru donation event at Coronation Park on Friday, December 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. Oakville residents are encouraged to bring a gift card, unwrapped toy, and/or non-perishable food donation item to the event, which will feature a holiday light display, Santa waving from his sleigh, and other festive guests.

Just a few kms from downtown, start your shopping day in Bronte. We have free(!) all-day parking in the municipal lot on Ontario Street @ Nelson St., free on-street parking after 6pm and on Sundays, and lots of paid parking options.
