REmarket Oakville: Give It a Second Life

Looking for a fun way to declutter, give back, and discover something new? Join us at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park on September 19 from 9AM-2PM for Oakville’s first-ever REmarket Oakville!

Inspired by REmarket at Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market, this free, community-driven event is on a mission to reduce waste going to landfill and encourage more thoughtful, sustainable choices when it comes to the things we buy and use.

Bring along usable items you no longer need and explore the FreeMarket, where community members can give and take items completely free of charge. You’ll also be able to responsibly recycle certain harder-to-recycle items through participating organizations, including Vitacore, TerraCycle, The Salvation Army, Plastic Flux, Canada Iron & Metal Co., Staples, and Renewed Computer Technologies (RCT).

REmarket Oakville is all about REusing, REcycling, and Rethinking – giving everyday items a second life while building a more sustainable and connected community.

So clear out the clutter, bring what you can, and come see what you might discover!
