Pull Up a Chair: Applications Now Open for At Home in Bronte 2026
The At Home in Bronte Muskoka Chair Project is back, ready to add a splash of colour to our beautiful waterfront. More than just a seat with a view, this public art installation transforms the iconic Muskoka Chair into a canvas for creativity, community, and a little lakeside magic.
More Than Just a Chair
Since 2017, the Bronte BIA has invited local artists, families, schools, community groups, and businesses to design and paint Muskoka Chairs displayed year-round along the waterfront. Each chair tells a story. What starts as one chair grows into many, creating a vibrant public art experience for everyone to enjoy.
Artists of All Ages & Abilities Welcome
We encourage everyone – from budding young artists to seasoned painters – to join this colourful public art tradition. There’s a place for every age and skill level to contribute to Bronte’s creative spirit.
Applying is Easy
Download the application, sketch your chair design, and fill out the form with your details. Submit your completed application by March 31 to Lydia at communications@brontevillage.net to be part of this year’s Muskoka Chair installation.
