Kindness, On the House: A Little Love Goes a Long Way!
Somewhere, right this very minute, someone is holding the door for a stranger, letting the person behind them go first in line, brushing snow off a neighbour’s car, or picking up a stray coffee cup off the sidewalk. Small gestures. Big impact.
At the Bronte BIA, we believe kindness is contagious. That’s why we’re so excited to launch Kindness, On the House, running February 9 to 13 – a feel-good campaign designed to sprinkle a little extra joy into everyday moments and celebrate what makes our community so special.
For five days, local businesses across Bronte Village will be spreading random acts of kindness – offering a little extra, sharing a surprise treat, or simply saying thank you in a big way.

Here’s what’s happening:
- Monday: Gift cards left on parked cars
- Tuesday: Free flowers for visitors, with a little help from Adults in Motion
- Wednesday: Self-care giveaways to brighten someone’s day
- Thursday: Coffee giveaways from our local cafés
- Friday: Surprise gift boxes hidden around the neighbourhood
All week: Stop by the Bronte BIA office at 2360 Lakeshore Rd W and pick up a voucher for a free cup of coffee (9AM–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday).
You can join in right now – share a smile with a stranger, help a neighbour carry groceries, leave a thank-you note for someone who made your day, compliment a colleague, or even let someone merge in traffic. These small moments ripple outward in ways you may never see, making Bronte Village brighter for everyone.
Follow along on our socials to see what’s happening when – and be sure to pop by soon. We can’t wait to welcome you!
