How was Parking in Bronte Today?

Have your say on parking in Bronte through an online survey until February 21.

As part of an Urban Mobility and Transportation Strategy, the Town of Oakville is conducting a parking study to help determine the current and future needs of parking within our community. The study will help develop a strategy that will meet parking demands, foster good urban design, support economic development and accommodate alternative forms of transportation such as cycling, walking, and transit.

More information about the study can be found on oakville.ca.

The survey:

One of the first steps in creating the parking strategy is to better understand the current parking situation. In order to do this, the Town is asking customers, employers, and employees within commercial districts, to share their parking experiences through an online survey.

There are two separate surveys.

  1. Online employer / employee survey

In this survey, we are asking employers and employees in Bronte what their parking experience is and how parking affects their business and work. Here is the link to the online survey.

  1. Visitor survey

This survey is for visitors and customers to Bronte. Look for flyers in local retailers and services in the area with more information about the visitor survey. Or, this survey can also be found online.

Note: All results are stored securely online and only accessible by the consultant for analytic purposes.
