Bronte is a vibrant destination across all seasons – and we love seeing visitors supporting local while they check out the beauty of the neighbourhood during the wintertime. Read along so you Know Before You Go and then bundle-up and come experience winter joy in Bronte!

Tip #1: Many businesses have free parking in their commercial lots. If you’re visiting a specific Bronte business, then absolutely park in the designated lot. These are privately owned and for customers of the adjacent stores, restaurants and businesses only while on the premises. Look for signage and check with the business you’re visiting to ensure you’ve parked in the right spot.

Tip #2: If you’re visiting Bronte to run multiple errands or to explore the neighbourhood, don’t park in a private lot, as you risk getting towed. Instead, park at our beautiful waterfront off of Ontario St where there are hundreds – we repeat – HUNDREDS of free parking spots with a gorgeous view. These spots are just steps away from the commercial district.

Tip #3: Another great option for those looking to spend time shopping, dining and exploring is the on-street paid parking, which is free after 6pm, on Sundays and holidays. Make sure to check out the new spots along Lakeshore Rd W in front of the Farm Boy/Rexall plaza. Use the HONK mobile app to make paying as easy as can be.
