Have Your Say: Help Shape the Future of Bronte’s Waterfront
The Town of Oakville is developing a Bronte Waterfront Strategy to reimagine the area as a vibrant, connected, and year-round destination for both residents and visitors. Community input will guide the strategy, which will go to Council in early 2026.
Key focus areas include:
- Connectivity and access
- Year-round activities and events
- Wayfinding and signage
- Future of the Bronte Boathouse and Metro Marine Building
- Enhancements to surrounding parks and public spaces
Project Timeline:
- Phase 1 (Aug–Oct 2025): Understand current challenges and opportunities
- Phase 2 (Nov 2025–Jan 2026): Explore design and program options
- Phase 3 (Jan–Mar 2026): Finalize the preferred plan
Get Involved – Upcoming Engagements:
