Farm, Fresh & Fun: The Bronte Farmers’ Market Launches with 3,500 Visitors

We were delighted to officially launch the Bronte Farmers’ Market on Sunday, July 7th! The Farmers’ Market is an outcome of a recent BIA-led community visioning process called Bronte Forward!, which asked local residents, businesses and community groups to paint a picture of their aspirations for Bronte. Ninety-one percent of survey respondents noted that a Market was a priority and would inspire them to spend more time in the district.

If the first Market Day was any indication, it’s going to be a bustling market season in Bronte! Over 3,500 people helped to kick of the event with 40 vendors – farmers, artisans, makers of prepared foods and bakers – and live performances by local musicians.
