Digital Main St. Grants Return
The Digital Main Street (DMS) program is (once again) accepting applications for $2,500 Digital Transformation Grants. Grants are available to Bronte businesses with less than 50 employees that did not receive a grant in 2021-2022. If you received a grant prior to June 2021, you can apply again. Deadline is October 31, 2022 – but don’t wait as money is granted as applications are received until it’s spent!
DMS is a province-wide program that helps small businesses adopt and exploit new technologies. With the support of DMS, the Town of Oakville has hired 3 Service Squad staff who directly assist local businesses with training, applying for grants and creating transformation plans. Our Squad member is Sharla and she’s dedicated to the Bronte BIA businesses. The best part: it’s all free!
Need help applying for the current grant? Want a social media plan or an audit of your existing website? Want to start selling products online? Looking to update your inventory tracking software? Need a new laptop? How about a business plan to make your store more tech savvy? Just need a quick question answered or really require some hand-holding to teach you about social media platforms? All available through the Service Squad – and all free!
Whether you apply for a Transformation Grant or not, the Oakville Service Squad is still available to help you. Just book a virtual meeting to get started.
