Celebrate Small Business Week – Every Week

Next week, October 18-24, is Small Business Week hosted by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), but for local Bronte entrepreneurs, every week is focused on running and growing their small business. And it’s reason to celebrate!

After 18 challenging months, it’s more important than ever to shop at your local retailer, dine out (or in) at a neighbourhood restaurant that uses local produce and hires staff that live and go to school here, and to tell your friends and visitors about why they should check out Bronte.

So, do the local thing – then write a rave review so others know about your great experience. Buy a gift certificate (Christmas is coming!) so others can share the love. Keep it small and keep it local – visit the businesses in the Bronte BIA, Downtown Oakville BIA and Kerr Village BIA.
