Apply Now: Patio Starts April 1

Applications are now being accepted for the Spring/Summer patio season starting April 1. Read more and apply. Connect with the Patio Team at patios@oakville.ca to discuss your plans or to arrange a site visit. All 2021 program participants must submit an application package and sign the use agreement before operating a patio/bistro.

The earlier start for patios this year is part of the Town of Oakville’s Commercial Recovery Initiative that includes the temporary, safe and practical installation of patios, bistros, and merchandising on public and private lands. In 2020, 92 patio permits were issued for restaurants and eateries across Oakville – with half located on town lands and the remaining on private sites.
