Where the Holidays Feel Like Home: Bronte Village Tree Lighting Celebration
The holiday season is almost here, and there’s no better place to kick it off than right here in Bronte Village!
The Businesses of the Bronte BIA invite you to At Home in Bronte for the Holidays on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 3PM to 7PM at Bronte Market Square. Bundle up, bring the family, and join us for an afternoon of festive fun, familiar faces and a little holiday magic as we gather to light Bronte’s community tree.
HERE’S WHAT’S IN STORE!
Meet Santa & Mrs. Claus
Bring your holiday wish list and your camera! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by for festive visits and photos in our Merry Moments Booth. Little ones can also bring their letters to Santa and pop them into our special North Pole mailbox. This activation is generously sponsored by Claystone Condos.
Enjoy Holiday Hits & Harmonies
Get into the spirit with live music and caroling throughout the afternoon, featuring festive favourites and seasonal sounds to make your visit extra merry – Circle of Harmony Chorus, Gigi Noche, and The Tempus Choral Society. There’s no better soundtrack for the start of the holiday season!
A Sprinkle of Cheer Holiday Market
Get a head start on your holiday shopping while discovering unique finds and thoughtful gifts from local vendors. From special little treasures to gifts for the people on your list, you might just find something wonderful to tuck under the tree.
Festive Activities for the Whole Family
Enjoy seasonal activities and make some holidays memories! Wreath making, games, colouring and more…it’s fun for all-ages.
Treats, Eats & Holiday Favourites
No holiday celebration is complete without something delicious! Stop by our food vendors – BeaverTails, Shircuterie Co., PRESSED! Sandwiches, The Flavour Fox and Farm Boy, grab a seasonal treat and find a spot to enjoy the festivities.
A Little Stargazing
Look up and discover the wonders of the night sky with the Bronte Astronomers, who will be set up at the event to help you gaze at the stars. It’s a fun opportunity to see the evening sky in a whole new way!
The Community Tree Lighting at 5:30PM
The highlight of the evening arrives at 5:30PM, when we gather together for the official lighting of Bronte’s community tree. It’s a wonderful moment to pause, take in the sparkle and kick off the holiday season with friends and neighbours. Our 2026 tree is generously sponsored by Amica Bronte Village.
Giving Back This Holiday Season
We’re pleased to welcome The Lighthouse for Grieving Children as our Community Giving Partner this year. The Lighthouse provides compassionate support to grieving children, youth and their families, and we’re grateful to recognize the important work they do in our community.
