Moonlight Madness December 2 Till 9pm
While not make a day and night of it?
First, check online before you leave home to know exactly where to park when you arrive. We’ve got free parking at the municipal lot facing Lake Ontario off Ontario Street. And, on-street parking is free after 6pm.
Be sure to bring your walking shoes and take a stroll around the district and Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park to admire the 100 At Home in Bronte: Winter Edition Muskoka chairs now on display. The new ones are from local artists and Sheridan College students.
Do some shopping at local retailers to get the juices flowing before dinner. Not all retailers will stay open late, so hit Lakeshore Rd and Marine Dr first – or check hours with your favourite stores to avoid disappointment.
Make a reservation at a local restaurant. There’s something to tempt any palate from Thai, Indian, tapas, French and everything in between. Restaurants are excited to welcome you safely indoors with proof of vaccination.
Then, when the sun goes down, stroll Bronte Rd and enjoy ‘Moonlight Madness’ evening shopping with participating stores staying open until 9pm. Holiday music, in-store sales and customer appreciation activities are a fun way to (finally) welcome back the season.
And, rumour has it, Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance!
