New Instructions from Halton’s Medical Officer of Health
Halton’s Medical Officer of Health has updated instructions for businesses that took effect on Friday, September 10. They combine existing rules from the Province and Halton with some new requirements.
Contact tracing must now be done in personal care services businesses and businesses with 100 or more workers must create and comply with a COVID-19 safety plan and a vaccine policy.
Original protocols remain in place for all businesses:
- Masks/face covering must be worn inside
- 2m/6ft physical distancing maintained
- Contract tracing for dining, fitness and other businesses
- Active screening all staff before they come into work
- Supplies available for handwashing
