The Bronte Boost Program: Small Grants, BIG Impact
The Bronte Boost Program gives our BIA members up to $500 to bring creative, fun, and engaging ideas to life in Bronte Village – whether it’s a storefront makeover, community workshop, or pop-up event. Every project helps make our neighbourhood more vibrant, welcoming, and fun to explore.

THE FINE PRINT:
- Grants of up to $500 for Bronte BIA members
- Available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are gone
- Members can apply for funding once per year
- Projects must be completed in 2026
- Funding is provided as a reimbursement after receipts are submitted
- Projects must be approved before expenses are incurred (no retroactive funding)
- Events and activations must be open to the public
- You bring the idea and make it happen – Bronte Boost helps cover the cost
Ideas that Shine:
Here’s where your creativity can make a real impact. The Bronte Boost Program supports projects that bring vibrancy, engagement and community spirit to the neighbourhood, including:
- Storefront beautification: seasonal décor, signage, window displays, lighting, street-facing art or murals.
- Community engagement: workshops, pop-up events, live music, interactive displays (photo walls, games, art installations).
- Public space enhancements: planters, murals, seating, patio lights, etc.
- Project-specific marketing: promotional materials directly related to the funded initiative.
What Can’t Be Funded:
To make sure every dollar goes towards enhancing Bronte’s vibrancy, these are examples of expenses that the grant does not cover:
- Business operating costs such as rent, utilities, payroll, insurance.
- Routine business expenses such as cleaning, office supplies, or equipment not tied to your project.
- General advertising that isn’t linked to your funded initiative.
- Town Permit fees (if applicable).
HOW TO APPLY:
- Start the conversation – Call 905-825-3258 or email Kylie at info@brontevillage.net with a short description of your idea and what you’re hoping to fund.
- Get pre-approved – Once approved, go ahead and move forward with your project.
- Submit your paperwork – Complete the online form and send in your receipts.
- Receive your funds – A cheque will be mailed within one month.
