2024 Bronte Farmers’ Market Vendor Applications Available Now!

Welcome and thank you for considering being a vendor at the Bronte Farmers’ Market! We’re so happy you’re here. Managed by the Bronte BIA, we are a Community Market that aspires to provide residents and visitors with quality produce and products made by local farmers, baked goods and tasty eats, as well as one-of-a-kind products created by local crafters and artisans.

ABOUT BRONTE

Considered one of Oakville’s most sought-after neighbourhoods – an intersection of city life and suburban waterfront living – Bronte is transforming itself into an exciting, complete community designed for the future.

When people visit Bronte, they take-in green space, sports & recreation, arts & culture, robust retail offerings and heritage & history. It is a place people visit to gather and belong, define common purpose, and bridge across differences.

WHY A MARKET?

The 2024 season will be the first annual launch of the Market in Bronte. A recent BIA-led community visioning process called Bronte Forward! asked the local community to paint a picture of who we are, what we care about and what we want to be. We learned that people have a desire for more family-friendly programming, sidewalk cafés, music performances and, of course, a Farmers’ Market. Ninety-one percent of survey respondents noted that Market was a priority and would inspire them to spend more time in Bronte.

BRONTE FARMERS MARKET 101:

  • Operates every Sunday from July 7 to August 25 from 11am to 3pm
  • Located in Bronte Market Square at 2445 Lakeshore Rd W
  • Aims to host 14-18 vendors each week
  • Plans are underway to add live music and performances to each Market experience
  • Local businesses and community groups will be invited to participate
  • The BIA will advertise the Market in the following ways: Look Local Summer Guide digital and print publication; Social media (5,600+ followers on Instagram and 8,700+ on Facebook); E-newsletters; BIA Website; Gateway signage in Bronte (12,000+ vehicles drive past daily)

Applications are due by April 30. All vendors will be contacted by May 14 letting them know if their application was approved for the 2024 Market season.
